Edward Anthony Fette, 79, of Lawrenceburg, IN, died Wednesday, December 16, 2009 in Lawrenceburg, IN.

He was born Tuesday, April 22, 1930 in New Alsace, Son of the late Cornelius Fette and the late Agnes Seufeurt Fette.

He served his Country for 11 years as a Navy Veteran

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Lawrenceburg American Legion. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, walking the dogs and yard work.

He worked as a Rural Postal Carrier, retiring after over 30 years of service.

Surviving are his Wife, Shirley Fette of Lawrenceburg, IN; Son, Gregory (wife Gina) Fette of Lawrenceburg, IN; Grandchildren, Kristyn Coleman & Amanda Gipson; Brothers, Irvin Fette of Florence , IN, Russell Fette of Harrison, OH, Marvin Fette of New Alsace, IN; Sisters, Rosemary Galle of Oldenburg, IN, Mildred Meyer of New Alsace, IN, Ethel Roell of Lawrenceburg, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.

Friends will be received 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Sunday, December 20, 2009 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Monday, at 11:00 am with Father Stephen Donahue officiating.

Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, IN. Color Guard Services will be conducted by the Korean War Veterans and the American Veterans.

Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or PAWS.
