Gail Albert Jenkins, 88, passed away peacefully at his home on February 5, 2010.

He was born in Salt Lake City on March 12, 1921 to George A and Lillian Malquist Jenkins. He married LaVerne Lambourne on September 3, 1947.

Gail is survived by his loving wife, LaVerne, and children, Craig (Lorna) Jenkins of Alpine, Vickie Hanney of St. George, David (Jo) Jenkins of Salt Lake City, Peggy (Keith) Butler of Sandy, a daughter-in-law Debbie Jenkins of Scottsdale, AZ, ten grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren. His son Steven C. Jenkins preceded him in death.

Gail was a devoted loving husband and father. He will be loved and remembered especially for his sense of humor.

Funeral Services will be held in the Canyon Rim First and Second Ward Chapel (3100 East 3000 South, East Millcreek, UT) on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Canyon Rim Ward Chapel.
Interment will be in the Holladay Memorial Park Cemetery, 4900 Memory Lane, Holladay, Utah.
