William Franklin Patterson March 21, 1909 - January 7, 2010 Franklin Patterson, 100, of Anderson, died, Thursday, January 07, 2010 at Limestone Health Facility. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:30 – 2:30 at First Baptist Church of Anderson, where the funeral service will follow immediately with J.D. Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Perry Patterson, Justin Hill, Kenny Patterson, Andy Wisdom, Evan Thornton and Eric Smith. In his earlier years he was a farmer and later retired from Lauderdale County Board of Education as a custodian at Anderson School. He was also a trustee at Anderson School for 12 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Anderson. Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline McConnell Patterson; son, James Almon Patterson, five brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his sons, Farrell (Lisa) Patterson of Colbert Co. and W.F. (Jean) Patterson of Olmsted Falls, OH; daughter, Peggy (Stanley) Hill of Athens; grandchildren, Dwight Patterson, Perry Patterson, Jennifer Thornton, Melissa Smith, Justin Hill and Andy Wisdom; twelve great-grandchildren; sisters, Leathel Griffin of Anderson and Mildred Corum of Rogersville
