Rosa Myrtle Touchton Bowman, 73 of Nahunta, GA died early Monday morning (Feb. 8, 2010) at
Shand's Jacksonville following an extended illness.

Born in Jacksonville, FL, her parents were James Frank Touchton and Lillian Russell Golding. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Lawrence Jessie Walker, Jr.

She was a X-ray Technician at the UFN Shands, Callahan. She enjoyed sewing, quitting and reading. She was an outdoors person who loved nature, gardening and canning. She was a member of Twin Rivers Missionary Baptist Church and a past member of Franklin Street Baptist Church, Jacksonville.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles Clarkson Bowman of Nahunta; a daughter and son- in-law, Rebecca Ann and Steven Weeks of Jacksonville, FL and a son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence Jessie and Janet Walker of Jacksonville, FL; 5 Grandchildren, Misty, Alan, Tressa, Jessica and Jessie, Jr.; 5 Great Grandchildren; 4 Sisters, Hazel, Mary, Dottie and Jo; 2 Brothers, Jimmy and Bill; also, several Nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be 1 hour prior to graveside services starting at 10:00 a.m. at Twin Rivers Missionary
Baptist Church Cemetery.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. at Twin Rivers Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev.
Terry Jackson officiating.
