Funeral Pending for Aged Osage Resident

Osage: Herman Sonberg, 87, died Wednesday evening at a hospital at Charles City with cerebral hemmorrage. The body is at the Champion funeral home where rites were pending.

Born in Germany August 15, 1863, Mr. Sonberg came to the United States at the age of 20 and to Osage in 185. He was married to Alice Louisa Rowland in 1893 and lived on farms in Osage township and near St. Ansgar, retiring to Osage in 1926. He had lived with his children since April this year.

Survivors include sons, Henry of Osage and Ralph of St. Ansgar, and daughters, Mrs. Eugene Adams, Osage; Mrs. Floyd Coonradt, LeRoy, Minn.; and Mrs. Cecil Adams, Webster City.
