SUSAN (SULLIVAN) RAVLIN
BURLINGTON
Susan (Sullivan) Ravlin, 80 formerly of S. Burlington and Enosburg Falls, died at the Medical Center Hospital Wednesday, June 30, 1993 following a lengthy illness. She had been a resident of Burlington Convalescent Center since August of 1987.
She was born in Franklin, Kentucky January 16, 1913, the daughter of Ulysses Grant and Maude (Rogers) Sullivan.
Mrs. Ravlin was a member of The First Baptist Church of Burlington, had been a volunteer for many years for the American Cancer Society and was an avid Democrat who worked ardently for the local and county Democratic Party.
She is survived by her two devoted sons, Lester D. Ravlin and Lance M. Ravlin, both of St. Albans; two grandsons, Bryan Ravlin of Burlington and Bradley Ravlin of St. Albans. She was predeceased by her husband, Lester E. Ravlin December 13, 1983 and all of her brothers and sisters.
A private funeral service will beheld at Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home on Friday with burial in the family lot in Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 81 St. Paul St., Burlington, VT. 05401. Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home, 71 S. Union Street, Burlington in charge of arrangements.
