CIMARRON--Frank M. Luther, Jr. 79, a real estate dealer and former mayor of Cimarron, died Friday evening (June 25) in a Dodge City hospital following a long illness.
He was born April 3, 1893 at Cimarron and lived in that community until 1920 when he moved to Wichita. He returned to Cimarron in 1941.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Wichita and Cimarron, and Plymouth Congregational Church in Wichita.
He was married to Cosa Mae Burgess,April 5, 1914, in Spearville. She died June 6, 1971.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Linscott, Topeka, and 3 grandchildren.
Services will be Mon. at United Methodist Church, Cimarron with burial in Cimarron Cemetery.
