Obituary states she died at Burke's Sanitarium in Altruria. Altruria was in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, CA.

Note: Altruria was a fictional place northeast of Santa Rosa that briefly became real in the 1890s. The name was from a popular book, "A Traveler from Altruria," by William Dean Howell. The imaginary Altruria was founded on altruistic ideals in a political system called "ethical socialism."
