FUNERALS--The funeral of the late Edna (Edina) Ruth Fry was held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday from the family home on South Dorendo street. The burial was at Greenwood cemetery.

Ruth Fry went too close to the fireplace and her skirt caught on fire. Despite the family's efforts to save her, she died a few days later. Told to me by her sister, and my great-grandmother, Anna Marion Fry Cavanaugh.
