Norman E. Randol, 85, Summitville, died Jan. 27, 2010 at Colonial Oaks in Marion following an extended illness.
He was born Jan. 27, 1925 in Summitville to Alonzo S. and Hazel (Cunningham) Randol. He had resided in Summitville all of his lifetime.
He served with the United States Navy during World War II.
He retired from Delco-Remy, formerly of Anderson after 30 years of employment.
He is survived by a son, Steve Randol, Summitville; a daughter, Cathy Cook, Wabash; six grandchildren; sisters, Naomi Enyeart and Barb Butcher, both of Fairmount; and brothers, Kenneth Randol of Indianapolis and Jack Randol of South Carolina.
Funeral services were Jan. 30, 2010 at Owens-Noffze Funeral Home in Summitville. Interment was in Vinson Memorial Cemetery at Summitville.
