Mary R. Johannes, age 79, of 980 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 1979, at Crestview Nursing Home.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol A. and Ben Rice of Dayton; sisters, Irene Dunn of Dayton and Hattie Henry of Mount Sterling, KY; grandchildren, Keith of Lackland Air Force Base in Texas, and Kelly of Dayton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Ohmer Park United Methodist Church and The Fun Timers class of the church. She was a secretary in the law office of Ben Horn for twenty years.
Funeral service at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Tobias Funeral Home, 648 Watervliet Ave., Pastor James Nuhfer officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday.
Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
