Caroline Schock was born in Murhardt Germany. Both of her parents died when she was young. She came to the United States when she was 16 and worked for a bakery saving money to bring her brother and 3 sisters here one by one. She married Joseph Hennrich in 1919. They had two sons and a daughter. Joseph died when the children were young. She worked very hard to raise her kids and give them a good life.
