Llewellyn Everett Chappell, 61, of North Windham, died Wednesday at Uncas-On-The-thames Hospital.
Born in Chaplin, April 1, 1902, he was the son of Everett and E. A. Green Chappell.
He leaves a son, Leonard Chappell of North Windham; two daughters, Mrs. Beverly Painter of Punxsutawney, Pa., and Mrs. Elizabeth Mock of Virginia; three brothers, Maro Chappell of Mansfield, Burton Chappell of North Windham, and Benjamin Chappell of Chaplin; a sister, Mrs. Ella Clark of Mansfield; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Robert W. Johnson Funeral Home, South Windham.
