Services for Mickey Blake Robertson, Sr. were held at 10 a.m., January 26, at Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Reed officiating.

Burial followed at White Rose Cemetery.

Mr. Robertson passed away January 23, 2010, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born November 22, 1919, in Greenville to the late John and Amy Robertson. He was raised in the China Grove Community and graduated from Martins Mill. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a medic while stationed in London, England. Mickey married Charlotte Campbell April 23, 1948, in Dallas, and she preceded him in death March 21, 2007. They moved to Wills Point in 1949, where Mickey started Robertson Electric Company. He was a 32nd degree mason and a Shriner at the Hella Temple in Rowlett.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Charlotte Robertson, seven brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his sons, Mickey Blake Robertson, Jr. and wife, Pam, and Ellis Robertson and wife, Lendhie, all of Wills Point, and Kyle Robertson and wife, Terri of Talty; grandchildren, Blake Robertson and wife, Kellye, Craig Robertson and wife, Shawna, Casey Robertson and wife, Tracey, Cole Robertson, Katie Robertson, Brooke Robertson and Jayme Robertson; great-grandchildren, Chase, Cooper, Parker, Breanna, Tyler, Mick, Abigail; and many other relatives.
