Marlin Clyde Gardner, age 56, born July 13, 1953, in Hawthorne, Nevada, to Clyde Wayne and Afton Donaldson Gardner. He passed away on January 30, 2010. He graduated from Central High School in Grand Junction, Colorado, and was an Eagle Scout. Marlin also attended Mesa College there later serving a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Marlin loved being with family and friends. He had a smile that lit up a room, a contagious laugh, great sense of humor and charitable compassionate heart. His sense of humor was so delightfully fun, that you would recall that memory with a smile.

All were better for having their lives touched by Marlin's vibrant and fun-filled perspectives. He left you feeling that you were the best version of yourself, as he would share generously of the good he saw in you, leaving you to feel that there was nothing you couldn't accomplish.

Marlin was a caring son, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Gardner, and is survived by his mother, brothers, sister, extended family, and friends. (Provided by Chris B.)
