Funeral Mass for Bernnie Prikryl Crabb, 81, of Damon, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2006 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Beasley with the Rev. Henry Rachunek officiating. Interment will follow in West Gethsemane Cemetery in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2006, with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg.
Bernnie was born Jan. 5, 1925 in Gonzales, to Alanzo Batchelor and Gussie Alice Manning Batchelor. She passed away July 19, 2006 in Wharton.
Bernnie was preceded in death by her husbands, R. E. Prikryl and Willard Crabb; a son, Frank Prikryl; her parents, Alanzo and Gussie Batchelor; and six brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her son, Andrew Prikryl and wife, Elizabeth, of Rosenberg; sister, Margie Jablonski and husband, Ted, of Wharton; brother, Frank Batchelor of Brazoria; brother-in-law, Daniel Prikryl and wife, Marlene, of Pearsall; grandchildren: Edward Prikryl, Melody Noble and husband, Mark; step-grandchildren: Charles Arnold and wife, Irene, Sylvia Bockholt and husband, Tommy, Cindy Twardowski and husband, Mark; numerous great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; along with other relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers are Loren Batchelor, Nicki Batchelor, Steve Batchelor, Ted Jablonski, Mark Twardowski, Danny Zwahr and Jeffery Zwahr.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd. in Rosenberg. 281-341-8800.
