GARNETT --- Randy Gene Burton, 41, Garnett, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, in Garnett.
Mr. Burton was a welder and pipe fitter.
He was born Sept. 14, 1960, in Cuba, N.M., the son of Donald Burton and Barbara L. Tipton Burton. He attended school in Mound City and lived most of his life in Garnett.
Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Shephard, Cherryvale; a companion, Debbie Wells, at home; his grandmother, Berniece Kindred, Garnett; two brothers, Terry Ressel, Corona, Calif., and Doug Ressel, Rock Island, Tenn.; and four sisters, Donna Roberts, Garnett, Jana Manning, Prairie Village, Tanya Giroux, Kansas City, Kan., and Glenda Williams, Pueblo, Colo.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Garnett Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Randy Gene Burton Memorial Fund and sent in care of Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel in Garnett.
