Melvin Merl Brewer of Marion died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2010 at St. Luke Living Center, Marion, KS.
He was born Feb. 25, 1925, to Merle and Leta Brandt Brewer. He was baptised at an early age at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Peabody.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Robert of Marion and Keith of McPherson.
Survivors include two sisters, Nadine Koegeboehn and Opal Walker of Marion; a brother, James of Peabody, many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends in Peabody and Marion.
A memorial service was held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home in Peabody. There will be no visitation. A private family burial will be at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
