Before his graduation, Marion enlisted in the National Guard. Marion was united in marriage to Mary Lee Egr on August 11, 1973 at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Gretna, Nebraska. He was a member of the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Bee, NE and the Dwight American Legion Post # 110.
Preceding Marion in death were his mother, Martha M. Hain; his father, Charles F. Hain, Jr; and his aunts and uncles, Majorie Spragg, Ed Soukup, Ed and Marie Greguras.
Marion is survived by his wife, Mary Lee (Egr) Hain of Bee; brother and sister-in-law, Allen E. & Beverly Hain of Seward; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Clarence and Char Greguras of Brainard, David & Linda Egr of Lincoln; uncle & aunt, Anthony & Frances Hottovy of Dwight; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
