WASHINGTON, PA. – A. Marie Abraham, 82, died Saturday, April 7, 2007 at the Donnell House following a brief illness. She was born Sept. 13, 1924 to Russell D. and Mae Reekie Wintamute at Dodge City. She married Frank Bombara. He preceded her in death. She later married Carl Abraham on May 29, 1976. He also preceded her in death. She worked as a seamstress for over forty years. She also was a waitress for 12 years at the Tower Restaurant and a seamstress at Flis Five for 11 years. She was a former member of the First Methodist Church in Kansas and presently a member of the Abundant Life Baptist Church in Washington. She was also a member of AARP, loved crocheting, sewing, enjoyed craftwork and especially loved dogs. Survivors include three sons, Frank and wife Sandy, Bombra, Washington, Michael and wife, Nancy Bombara, Cary, N.C., David Bombra, Marysville, MO.; seven daughters, Janice and husband, Eddie Harris, Taylorstown, Pat and husband Sam Doman, Washington, Rosie and husband, Allan Cenis, Washington, Susan and husband, Tom Rizor, Fayettville, N.C., Carla McCreary, Gonzales, LA., Peggy and husband, Dick Matthews, Bentleyville, Donna Kirpsak, Pittsburg; one brother, Warren and wife, Maxine Wintamute, Hutchinson; three sisters, Irene Roney, Sequin, Wash., Lorea Rach, Woodinville, Wash., Virginia Shira, Dodge City; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Howard and David Wintamute, one great-granddaughter, Jorja Leigh Rizor. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc. Wilson at East Katherine Avenues, Washington. Additional visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Abundant Life Baptist Church, Washington, PA. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Abundant Life Baptist Church with Rev. George Garancosky presiding. Burial will be in the Jefferson Memorial Park, Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburg, PA.
