Floy Mildred Hunt, 76, 103 Sunny Knoll Dr., Winchester, died Sunday, June 26, 1996, at Randolph County Hospital in Winchester.
She was born Dec 6, 1919, in Boone County, N.C., the daughter of the late Dallas and Estella Clark Lowrance. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, George Hunt Jr.; three daughters, Betty (husband James) Owens of Greenriver, Wyo., Mildred (husband James) Bowers of Houston, Texas, and Patricia (husband Darrell) Tillson of Union City, Ind.; five sons, Gordon (wife Carolyn) Lowrance of Fall Branch, Tenn., Jerry (wife Rita) Lowrance and Thomas (wife Libby) Lowrance, both of Ridgeville, Frank ( wife Carolyn) Lowrance of Winchester and George W. (wife Angie) Hunt of Beaumont, Texas; 21 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and six sisters, Dare Dahlstorm of Euclid, Ohio, Doris Heidinger of West Lake, Ohio, Mabel Herron of Washington, Penn., Hilda (husband Abbe) Pracey of Nashville, Tenn., Lucille Arp of Kingston, Tenn., and Reba Goins of Columbus, Ga.
She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester with the Rev. Steve Conner officiating. Burial will be in Spartanburg Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 and 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
