Carrie D. Brumagen, age 103 of Bethlehem, died Sunday, January 31, 2010, at the Richwood in LaGrange. She was born in Robertson County, the daughter of the late Isaac Thomas Shepherd and Lula Kate Stoker Shepherd. She was a homemaker, farmer and taught school at the Mason and Robertson County School Systems for more than 35 years. She was a member of Piqua United Methodist Church and Bethlehem United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Katie Sue Yount (Robbie), of Bethlehem and her grandson, William Russell Yount (Bonnie), of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was also "Ma B" to Theressa Clements (George) of Pleasureville, Robbin Mashburn (Rodney) of Pendleton, Jacklyn White (Joseph) of Point Pleasant and Anthony Mashburn (Kerrie) of Campbellsburg. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Piqua Christian Church of Mt. Olivet. Jim Shepherd will officiate. Visitation will be at the church from noon until funeral time on Wednesday. Interment will be in Piqua Christian Church Cemetery. Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville is in charge of arrangements.
