Miss Bessie Marie Lowrey served as cashier and assistant manager of the National Theatre for many years. She lived at 520 Grove Street and was a lifelong resident of Graham. She graduated from Graham High school in 1926. Miss Lowrey was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survived by her mother; one brother - A.H. Lowrey; four sisters - Mrs. Don Ray, Mrs. E.A. Henegar, Mrs. J.H. Hand, Mrs. Margaret Blevins; three nieces; three nephews; one grand niece; one grand nephew.
