Bruce Dotson, 57, of Rt. 5, Huntsville, died March 19 in Huntsville Memorial Hospital. Born November 1, 1922, at Whorton Creek, he was the son of Abraham L. and Hannah Hayden Dotson. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bonnie Edwards Dotson of the home; a son, Abe Dotson of Huntsville; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Ann Myers of Rogers and Mrs. Connie Sue Emery of Huntsville; his mother of Benton; six sisters, Mrs. Oshey Perkins, Mrs. Dot Parker, Mrs. Chloe Bolinger and Mrs. Merle Jones of Huntsville. Mrs. Doshey Baker of Filer, Idaho and Mrs. Oka Stansell of Valley Falls, Kansas; and one grandchild.
Services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 22, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville with the Rev. Harold Duvall officiating. Burial was in Whorton Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Hugh Parson, Paul Vanderpool, Roy Reynolds, Jim Smith, Odus Myers and Dorsey Smith.
