HOWEVER, additional research showed that on 20 September 1868, Daniel Webster Brown 1st married Amanda Vaughn in San Joaquin County, California; shortly after he was released from his Civil War military service. Unfortunately, Amanda died about 1872 and Daniel 2nd married Polly Ann Nickerson in 1873 to help raise his first child and begin his second family. The two younger brothers listed above were "Minnie's" half-siblings.
Later Federal Census records show that she had two more half-sibling; a sister, Alice & brother, Daniel Webster Jr.

Additional fact-finding, confirms that this is the grave of Minnie (Brown) Tanner... homemaker & wife of George W. Tanner (who is also buried in this cemetery).
NOTE: Per the 1900 Federal Census, they were living in Sumner County, Kansas & had married in 1889. Four of the five children linked to George are captured on this census.

It was his second marriage also; his first wife's name was Alice L. Powell & they had four children (Glen, Ray, Faye & Wayne). John died 18 March 1943 in Kitsap County, WA; no known grave location for him.
