Valeria Ann Meuschke, 74, of Lincoln, died Monday, February 1, 2010, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia. She was born on March 8, 1935, at Edwards, Missouri, a daughter of Clarence Edward and Mabel Olive (McLaughlin) Estes.

On September 27, 1953, at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln, she was united in marriage to James Frederick Meuschke, who survives of the home.

She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Lincoln, where she was baptized and confirmed on April 4, 1954, by Rev. Henry Luker. For 24 years, she was a cook for Lincoln R-2 School and Estes Drive-In at Lincoln for 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, dancing, going to garage sales, and having coffee with her friends.

Besides her husband, she is survived by: one daughter, Andra Gabbert and her husband Danny of Aledo, Texas; two sons, Tracy Meuschke and his wife LaDonna and Todd Meuschke, all of Cole Camp; two sisters, Charlene Hedrick and her husband Russell of Windsor and Christine Tollesson and her husband Jim of Modesto, California; one sister-in-law, Linda Estes of Lincoln; four grandchildren, Christopher Meuschke, Amy Bowman, Kyle Gabbert and Kayleigh Gabbert; and one great-grandson, Brody Meuschke.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mabel Estes, one sister, Sue Gramlich, and one brother, Keith Estes.

The family will receive friends from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2010, at Zion Lutheran Church, Lincoln.

The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Benton County Cancer Society or Zion Lutheran Cemetery in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp
