MRS. ADINE FITE TO BE BURIED: TODAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Adine Kirtland Fite, wife of John W. Fite, 3328 Love Circle, will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Brace-Welsh funeral home, 2407 West End Ave. the Rev. Gayle L. McGlothien will officate. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Mrs. Fite died Thursday night at a Nashville hospital after a long illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Nashville. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lloyd Kirtland. In 1915, she was married to Mr. Fite who is director of Cutter's Exchange. Mrs. Fite was a graduate of Hume-Fogg high school and attended Peabody college. She was member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Art Rebrovick and Mrs. Adine K. Hurt, both of Nashville; three sisters, Mrs. D.H. Baker, Mrs. N.B. Yost, Mrs. J. C. Wilkerson, all of Nashville; three brothers, Fred Kirtland of Nashville, Henry A. Kirtland of Memphis and Richard Kirtland of Jacksonville, Fla.; three grandchildren. Pallbearers will be P.M. French, L.C. Tiller, John Ambrose, Dan E. McGugin, F.C. Sowell, Dr. Clinton E. Brush, Dr. A. Bryant Libscomb, John Lamson, William R. Austin, Jr. Fielding Yost, Jr. of Birmingham, Mich., Leonard McGugin and Wilson Cooper.
