Funeral services for William E. Frantz,71 of Cerro Gordo who died Friday were held Sunday at the Church of Brethren with Rev. Teach, the pastor and Rev. W. T. Heckman. Burial was in Cerro Gordo cemetery.
He was born Nov. 23,1875 near Cerro Gordo and spent his entire life in that vicinity. He was married in 1918 to the former Leona Lowery who preceded him in death in 1929.
He leaves two children, Mrs.Hazel Curry of Cerro Gordo, Mrs. Dorothy Bietsch of Chandler,two sisters,one grandchild. He was a member of the I. O.O.F. lodge in Cerro Gordo.
