Franklin- Mrs. Carrie Sexton, 57. of 1137 Thirkield Ave., was found dead in a chair at her home at 4pm Thursday. Death apparently was caused by a heart attack.
Surviving are her husband, Frank; three sons, Henry Rowe, Cecil and Frank Sexton, Jr.; eight daughters, Miss Alberta Rowe, Mrs. Mildred Fry, Mrs. Beatrice Powell, Miss Ruby Sexton, Mrs. Mary Johnson, Mrs. Beulah Glenn, Miss. Carrie Belle Sexton and Mrs. Rena Glenn, all of Franklin; and two brothers, Tipp Allen of Franklin and Levi Allen of Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday at the First Baptist Church. The Rev. H. S. Gessner will officiate and burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the residence after 2pm Saturday. The Robert Eaton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
