BETTY MARIE SHOUSE Passed away in Castro Valley on November 6, 2004. Mrs. Shouse was born in Oakland on November 10, 1923 and was a lifelong resident of Alameda County. Mrs. Shouse was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Navy and retired after 32 years as a Voucher Examiner for the United States Government Department of Defense. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Joseph, in 2003 and will be missed by her children, Joanne O'Toole of Danville, Robert Shouse of Montgomery Creek and Donna Kurtz of Dublin; a brother, Robert Uhlinger of Oregon and grandchildren, Karen and Sean O'Toole, Amber Shouse and Davian Spears. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 16, 2004, 11:00 a.m. at San Joaquin National Cemetery, Gustine, CA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 251 Lafayette Circle, Suite 350, Lafayette, CA 94589.
