Electa Matilda Fenner was the daughter of William Fenner Jr (1796 - 1861) Memorial # 20506751 and Mariah Grimes Fenner (1800 -1888) Memorial # 20506801. She was one of 13 children.
Electa was married 1st to Alvan Fellows (1815 - 1892) Memorial # 165310036.
They were married in New York (Probably Blenheim, NY) and removed to Michigan around 1840. Their family is listed in the 1850 Federal Census for Hartland, Livingston, Michigan, lines 29 - 33: Alvan, Electa, Esther, Darwin, and Marvin (William Marvin)
Also in Michigan were Alvan's sister, Altana Fellows Stephens and husband Henry Fairchild Stephens.
Electa left Alvin and Henry left Altana and they ran away together back to New York where they married and had children: Henry Fairchild Jr. in 1851 and Harriet A. in 1852.

Esther Mariah Fellows (1837 - 1908) Memorial # 143293382. Married: Albert A. Hathaway and removed to Michigan.
Darwin L. Fellows (1841 - 1864) Rose to the rank of Lieutenant in the Union forces and died at the Battle for Boydton Plank, Hatcher's Run, Burgess Mill, Virginia. He is buried in Cary Cemetery where mother, Electa, is buried. His Memorial # is 66284672.
William Marvin Fellows (1847 - 1870) Died intestate at the age 23. In Probate records for William r, his mother, Electa Stephens and sister, Esther Hathaway, are listed as heirs of his estate. He is also buried in Cary Cemetery - Memorial # 66284673.
