Ann "June" Mazzocchio, nee Alsop, 77, Villa Ridge, passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, at her home.

Mrs. Mazzocchio, daughter of Robert Alsop and wife Helen, nee Silies, was born May 6, 1930, in St. Louis.

She received her education from Our Lady of Presentation Grade School, Ritenour High School and City of St. Louis Hospital School of Nursing.

On Oct. 11, 1952, she was united in marriage to Joseph Mazzocchio Sr.

Mrs. Mazzocchio was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. John's Gildehaus Church.

Mrs. Mazzocchio was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Robert, William and Thomas Alsop; and three sisters, Helen Bathe, Marietta Alsop and Teresa Saffo.

She is survived by one son, Joseph Mazzocchio Jr. and wife Kim, St. James; three daughters, Joann Mazzocchio, Villa Ridge, Denise Molner and husband Ed, Union, and Elena Eckelkamp and husband Marvin, Washington; one sister, Joan Kipper, St. Charles; four grandchildren, Keith and Debbie Eckelkamp and Colleen and Elise Molner; two stepgrandchildren, Heather Wells and husband Josh and Josh Ellis and wife Andrea; five step-great-grandchildren, Shantel, Jordan, Christian, Autumn and Ariana; other relatives and many friends.

A funeral Mass was held Wednesday, Sept. 26, at St. John's Gildehaus Church, Villa Ridge. The Rev. Jeff Knight officiated.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Memorials to St. John's Mercy Hospice in Washington are preferred.

The family was served by Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.
