Robert served as a Sergeant on B-25D #41-30350, 3rd Bomber Training Squadron, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Texas prior to the war.

Robert died in the "Line Of Duty" while on a training mission when his B-25 crashed in Telergma, Algeria during the war. It is believed that they were training to use Radar. It is unknown what caused the B-25 to crash.

Service # 18102266

His brother, S/Sgt George R. Casey, died while a POW of the Japanese Army during the war in China.

They are interred next to each other.
