OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)
LIBERTY MILLS, Oct. 5 - Oliver M. Stephen, 77, Big Four machinist, died Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock in his home east of Liberty Mills. He had been in ill health for several months.

The body was taken to the Bender Funeral home where it will remain for funeral services Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Falls cemetery, Wabash.

Mr. Stephen was born in January of 1865 in Grant county but spent most of his life in Wabash county. He had been employed with the Big Four railroad in Wabash as a machinist.

His first wife Laura Stephen, preceded him in death. He was married in 1931 to Lydia Walter who survives. Other survivors are two children, Mrs. Arminda Speicher of Wabash, and Bodine Stephen of Peoria, Ill., several stepchildren, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
