There is absolutely no known documented information to link this man to John Hunt and his wife Elizabeth Mary Tyus. John Hunt is well documented by Miles Philbeck, Editor of The Genealogical Society of Old Tryon County (Rutherford Co., NC) as well as Elizabeth Mary Tyus and her children. While I see other family tree websites stating them as his parents, again there is no documentation. All records for John Hunt were in Brunswick, Greensville, and Sussex County, Virginia and Orange County, North Carolina. No records exist for him in Dinwiddie County, Virginia. As such, Turner Hunt should be detached from the memorials for the listed parent
