Mary Lou Hall, age 79, left us to rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus on Thursday, January 28, 2010, with her family by her side. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and friend.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her father, Leavy Alvarez; her mother, Gladis Nix; her brothers, Junior Alvarez and Grafton Nix; her sister, Dorothy Nix, and a son, Danny Hall.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 56 years, Curtis W. Hall; brothers, George Nix (Maria), and Sammy Alvarez (Janice); her daughters, Oberine Hall, Theresa Chism, Debra Abercrombie (William), and a son, Lamar Hall (Teresa); eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor David Joiner officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Faith Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2010.
