PLAINVIEW, Oct. 24--(Special)--Funeral services for Robert L. Daniel, 81, a long time resident of Hale County, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, from Lemons Funeral Home Chapel here, with the Rev. Lee Morris, pastor of Gainesville Baptist Church, and the Rev. R. S. Weathers, Plainview Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Plainview.
Mr. Daniel died at 11 a.m., Thursday at the home of a son, C. E. Daniel, at Kirbyville, where he went about six months ago. Mr. Daniel, a retired farmer, was born December 6, 1874, in Grayson County. He came to Hale County 27 years ago from Montague County. He had resided in Cook County for 20 years, before he moved to Montague.
Survivors are: two daughters, Mrs. Walter Beckeron, of Midland, and Mrs. O. H. King of Richmond, Calif., two sons; C. M. Daniel, of Kirbyville and J. S. Daniel of Plainview; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grand children.
