Hallye Fortson Adams died at an early age in a fire at her home in Plainview, Texas which stated in the kitchen. She and her husband, Jesse Martin Adams, had one child, Sadye Earle Adams, who married Edward Quinby Perry, both also of Plainview, Texas. The "Hallye" name would be carried on with her great grand-daughter, Hallye D. Jordan, and great great grand-daughter, Hallye Elizabeth Hall.
