Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Brown, 79, formerly of the Bee Springs community of Giles County, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 1989, at Clarksville Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services were held Friday, Dec. 8, at Bee Springs Cemetery with Paul Sain officiating.
A native of Limetone County, Ala., Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late James Wiley and Bertha Brown Bland and was married to the late Frederick Hugh Brown. She was a former member of the East Hill Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Joan B. Gower of Cedar Hill, Tenn., Mrs. Jeanette Sullivan of Savannah, Ga.; three sons, James R. Brown of Pulaski, Paul M. (Pete) Brown of Polk City, Fla., Michael G. Brown of Savannah, Ga.; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
