She was born in Blount County, Tenn., to Delmas McRae of Robbinsville, and the late Betty Wiggins McRae, who passed away in 2004.
She was a 1991 graduate of Robbinsville High School, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western Carolina University in 1995 with a degree in accounting. She went on to become a CPA.
More importantly, she knew Christ as her Savior and was confident in her faith.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Wendell and Diana McRae of Robbinsville and Walter and Kimberly McRae of Rock Hill, S.C.; her sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Ronnie Pruitt, of Rock Hill; and her nephew, Keith McRae, also of Rock Hill.
Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24 at the Townson-Smith Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Millsaps officiating. Committal services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25 at the Old Mother Cemetery. The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, prior to the service
