He was a son to Alfred "Haps" and Dorothy (Wendel) Borger.
Surviving are two brothers, Mark Borger, Celina and Wayne (Trudy) Fisher, Celina; three sisters, Jane (Robert) Wendel and Rita (Rick) Woods, all Celina, and Nancy (Roger) Roth, Decatur, IN; a brother-in-law, Chuck Arnold, St. Marys; and 9 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Arnold in 1983.
Terry was a 1970 graduate of the Immaculate Conception High School in Celina. He was a member of the Celina Eagles, Celina American Legion, Celina VFW and the Celina Moose. Terry worked at Huffy's in Celina for 28 years and he most recently worked at Omni Manufacturing in St. Marys. He also worked as a custodian part time for the Celina City Schools.
Funeral services will be at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Rockford, with Rev. Catherine Costello officiating.
