In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Evaline "Evelyn" R. Wilhide, Myersville and Helen E. Grimes, Frederick, four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Emmert is also survived by two brothers, Charles "Clifford" Shepley, Hagerstown and Martin "Edgar" Shepley, Frederick and predeceased by one sister, Mary Catherine Shepley --?--, and two brothers, Wilbur W. Shepley and Foster G. Shepley.
Funeral held at the Biddle Funeral Home, Myersville with the Rev. Monroe J. Shearer officiating and internment made in the Mount Zion United Methodist Cemetery by Biddle funeral directors, Myersville.
