Emil F. Roos was born on December 25, 1913 in Austin, Texas and passed away on January 29, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother.

He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy, daughter Terry Kieschnick and husband Jerry of St. Louis, son David of Austin; granddaughter Angie Keith and husband Todd of Georgetown, grandson Andy Kieschnick , great grand children Kolby and Kayla Keith of Georgetown , brother-in-law Marvin Gruesen and wife Carmen of Austin , brother-in-law Gus Doering and wife LaVerne of Cedar Park, and nieces and nephews.

Mr. Roos served in the National Guard, in the Navy Seabees in the South Pacific in WW II, and in the Korean War.

He worked for the City of Austin for 29 years and was a member of IBEW for 63 years. He enjoyed going for car rides, auctions, and football games.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2nd at Weed¬-Corley-Fish Funeral Home at 3125 N. Lamar. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Austin Memorial Park.
