Kathy Cook, 59, of Oceana, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Wyoming Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, New Richmond following a long illness.
Born August, 18, 1950 at Pineville, she was the daughter of William McKinley Browning Jr. (1922-1994) and Marita Wikel-Browning (1924-2012) of Pineville.
Kathy was a graduate from Marshal University and was a retired teacher from Westside High School.
Survivors include her son, Benjamin "Travis" Cook of Oceana; her mother, Marita Wikel-Browning (1924-2012) of Pineville; and her brother, Michael Browning and his wife, Ann of Monroe, NC.
