Marshall F. Frye
Marshall F. Frye ,94, 437 Joy St. Bloomington, died Saturday afternoon at Bloomington Hospital.
Born June 17, 1889, in Monroe County, he was the son of Alex and Margaret Chandler Frye. He was a retired quarry worker with Empire Quarries and a member of the South Side Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Viola Roberts Frye of Bloomington: Two daughters , Hazel Sego of Indianapolis and Wanda Deckard of Bloomington, one son Orville Frye of Bloomington, one brother Dillon Frye of Bloomington: Four grandchildren ( Oliver Keith Frye, Marcella Frye Deckard, Beverly Deckard Brown, and Bridgett Frye), and four great grandchildren ( Ronda Beth Deckard Gardner, Kenneth Lee Deckard, Joseph Lancer Frye, and Sean Lane Brown.)
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Oliver and Bennie Frye, six brothers and two sisters.
Burial will be at the Clear Creek Cemetery. Funeral held at the Allen Funeral Chapel.
