The body was taken to the Norman Funeral Home from which place services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock conducted by A. Sterling Ward, Pastor of the First Methodist Church. Internment will be at Lucerne.
He had been ill practically all winter, but was bedfast only three weeks.
Mr. Van Buskirk was born June 3, 1875, near Lucerne, son of Isaac and Alice Van Buskirk, He grew to manhood in that community and was married to Miss Mattie Atkinson Dec 17, 1896 The family moved to Chillicothe in 1906 when he began to work with the M.W. Litton funeral livery, which he purchased in 1916 and has conducted it since that time.
Survivors are his wife Mattie, two sisters Mrs. J. Lee White and Mrs. Nell Myers both of Lucerne, two brothers, Carl Van Buskirk of Unionville and LM Van Buskirk of Lucerne
