A graveside service for George Herschel Wade, who died Monday, September 8, 1997, at Medical Park Convalescent Center in Decatur, was held Tuesday, September 9. The 2 p.m. service was held at Moulton Memory Gardens with the Rev. B. L. Hale Jr. officiating and Elliott Funeral Home directing.
He was born in Lawrence County and was retired from Ford Motor Co.
He is survived by one sister, Frances Wade Kracke of Courtland.
Pallbearers were Bo Agee, Garland Jones, Brooks Kracke, Alan Thomason, Joe Vinson and Jack Wilson.
