Jacob Burns, a well known Young farmer, of the Texas community, died at the hospital in Lebanon of appendicitis. His condition was so serious when he was tajen to the hospital that an operation was not performed. He is survived by his wife and three small children. After funeral services by Rev. Jeffries, of Gravel Switch, the interment was in the Cocanougher Cemetery.
