Dorothy went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 25, 2009. Born in Wallace, Idaho to Robert and Ellyn Brecken she moved to Spokane as a small child where she later met and married her high school sweetheart, Frederic C. Moore. She lived in Spokane for many happy years where they raised their four children. Because of Fred's job with the FAA they moved to Aberdeen and then to Lake Tapps near Auburn, WA where they lived for 30 years, enjoying their family and many friends. Her greatest joys in life were her church, helping others and spending time with her family members and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and hold those special memories dear. Dorothy recently returned to Spokane area to be closer to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Frederic; and her son, James. She is survived by her children: Gerald (Janet), Mary Lou (Mike), Sharon (Early); 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great -grandchildren; sister, Janet; brother-in-law, Kenneth; sisters-in-law, Carol and Mary Jane; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy will be remembered for her kind spirit, her love of God, family and friends. Visitation will be held from 2:00 till 8:00pm, Thursday, April 30, 2009. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, May 1, 2009 at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home. Private family interment at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
