AGED CITIZEN IS CALLED BY DEATH - R. A. Atkinson Dies At Lacey's Spring After Illness
Lacey's Spring - R. A. Atkinson, one of the most beloved residents of this place, died Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the age of 82 years after several weeks illness.
Interment was made at the Lacey's Spring Cemetery, funeral services being conducted Friday at 3 o'clock at the Methodist Church, of which he had been a member for several years.
He leaves one son, J. D. Atkinson, and two sister-in-laws, Misses Cora and Myra McCutcheon, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss.
